I love the shift toward PMOS, which stands for pol I love the shift toward PMOS, which stands for polyendocrine, metabolic ovarian syndrome. What most women are dealing with is not just an “ovary problem” but an issue with hormones, blood sugar, inflammation, thyroid, metabolic health, and the whole system talking at once.

This is why I am such a huge believer in test, don’t guess.

That’s why I’ve been using Rythm. They send the kit straight to your door, you collect at home, and you get results back fast so you can actually see what is moving instead of trying to piece your symptoms together like a hormonal crime scene. 😂

I use Rhythm to track estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and the bigger metabolic picture, because the last thing you need right now is guessing.

What you need is data, patterns, and a plan that actually matches what their body is showing us!

EPISODE 48: From Surviving a Brain Tumor to Thrivi EPISODE 48: From Surviving a Brain Tumor to Thriving with P@p tides with Kellie Hoover @kelliehoovermidlife

In this episode, I’m joined by Kellie Hoover, entrepreneur, former pharmaceutical sales representative, brain tumor survivor, wife, mom of two daughters, and passionate advocate for women’s health and personal growth.

Kellie shares her incredible journey from a successful pharmaceutical career through a life-altering brain tumor diagnosis that completely changed the way she approached health, wellness, and longevity. After refusing to accept a future dependent on stimulants and sleep medications, she began exploring nutrition, supplementation, and eventually p@p tides as tools to support her recovery and overall well-being.
Our conversation dives deep into her experience with N A D plus, glutathione, and G L P 1 therapies, including the emotional side of weight loss, overcoming food noise, navigating shame and stigma, and learning to trust herself around food again. Happy marriage tip of the week: marry the man, then make sure he keeps strength training. 😌💪
I will never teach women to starve harder, cardio I will never teach women to starve harder, cardio harder, or shame themselves into a smaller body.

I want you strong, well-fed, clear-headed, sleeping deeply, lifting heavy, pooping daily, reading your labs, and actually understanding what your body has been trying to tell you!

That is the work we do inside The Body Edit. It is the exact strategy I’ve used with over 1,400 midlife clients to lose stubborn weight, sleep deeply, regain all-day energy, and feel better than they did in their 20s.

This is for you if you’re DONE guessing. You’re done eating less, doing more, buying another random supplement, and wondering why your body still feels stuck.

Your hormones are messengers. 💬 Estrogen tells yo Your hormones are messengers. 💬

Estrogen tells your body how to store fat. Cortisol tells your body whether it feels safe enough to release weight. Insulin tells your body whether to use fuel or keep storing it.

So when estrogen is dropping, cortisol is high, and insulin is resistant, your body is not hearing “burn fat.”

It is hearing “store, protect, hold on.”

This is why so many women in midlife feel like they are eating clean, tracking everything, walking, lifting, cutting wine, lowering calories, doing the “right” things… and the scale still looks at them like, “lol no.” 😵‍💫

Once you learn how to stabilize your blood sugar, rebuild muscle, support minerals, calm cortisol, improve sleep, and lower inflammation, the food part gets easier.

That is when fat loss stops feeling like a full-time job.

This is exactly what I teach inside The Body Edit. It is the strategy I’ve used with over 1,400 midlife clients to lose stubborn weight, sleep deeply, regain all-day energy, and feel better than they did in their 20s.

Ladies, stop letting that lie live rent-free in yo Ladies, stop letting that lie live rent-free in your head that you won’t be able to get fit after having kids!!

I have 4 kids, and I am in better shape now than I was before having them. But let me tell u something, this did not come from starving harder, punishing myself with workouts, cutting every carb, or trying to “get my body back” from a place of panic.

It came from finally understanding how my body actually works. You can rebuild muscle, you can lose stubborn weight, and you can get your energy back after kids. And honestly, you should!! Because your kids are watching how you care for yourself, how you speak about your body, and how you lead yourself when life is full.

This is not about chasing your 20-year-old body but becoming the healthiest, strongest, most grounded version of you now.

Inside The Body Edit, I teach the exact strategy I’ve used with over 1,400 midlife clients to lose stubborn weight, sleep deeply, regain all-day energy, and feel better than they did in their 20s.

1. You’re freezing when everyone else is fine 🥶 Yo 1. You’re freezing when everyone else is fine 🥶
Your body is smart, babe. When it does not feel properly fueled, it starts conserving energy. That can show up as lower body temperature, cold hands, cold feet, and that “why am I freezing in a normal room?” feeling.

2. You’re thinking about food all day 🍑🥩🥐🍣🥑
When your brain feels underfed, it gets LOUD about food. You start planning the next meal while eating the current one. You feel obsessed with snacks. You keep opening the pantry like something new is going to appear.

3. You wake up between 2-4am and can’t go back to sleep 😵‍💫
This is one I see all the time with midlife women. You think it is just “hormones,” but sometimes your blood sugar is dropping overnight because you did not eat enough during the day.

4. You’re bloated, constipated, and digestion feels slow 🐢
When your body feels underfed or overstressed, digestion is not the priority. Your system can slow down because your body is trying to conserve energy. Food sits longer, motility changes, and suddenly you feel puffy, backed up, and uncomfortable even when you are “eating clean.”

5. You are irrationally irritated by tiny things 🙃
If everything makes you want to snap, cry, or hide in the pantry alone for 12 minutes, your nervous system is running on fumes. Your brain needs glucose, your hormones need minerals and your body needs enough food to feel safe!

This is why “just eat less” is some of the worst advice for women in midlife… your body needs to feel safe before it will release weight, sleep deeply, calm inflammation, and give you your energy back.

That’s why I created The Body Edit, my foundations-first method for midlife women who want their body to finally feel safe enough to release stubborn weight, sleep deeply, calm inflammation, and get their energy back.

I’ve used this strategy with 1,400+ midlife clients to lose stubborn weight, sleep deeply, regain all-day energy, and feel better than they did in their 20s.
