hello!

I'm Jennifer

I didn’t grow up dreaming about a career, I dreamed about being a mom. But years of striving, perfectionism, and pushing myself to exhaustion left my hormones wrecked, my gut inflamed, and my body begging for change. After finding Functional Diagnostic Nutrition and rebuilding my own health through data, nourishment, and balance, I made it my mission to help other women do the same. I now guide women to restore their bodies through holistic lab testing, ancestral nutrition, rest, and sustainable self-care, because a balanced body makes for a balanced babe.

I didn’t choose this life. Okay, yes I did. I didn’t choose this life. Okay, yes I did.
Estrogen gets most of the attention when progester Estrogen gets most of the attention when progesterone is often overlooked entirely.

Yet healthy progesterone levels support deeper sleep, a calmer mood, more predictable cycles, fewer menopause symptoms, and a greater sense of stability throughout the month.

Supporting progesterone naturally isn’t about adding one trendy supplement. Your body needs consistent nourishment, stable blood sugar, adequate protein, quality sleep, strength training, and enough recovery.

The outcome goes far beyond fat loss. You feel calmer, sleep better, have consistent energy, understand what your body needs, and finally stop feeling like your hormones are running your entire life.

If you’re ready to feel like yourself again, comment EDIT below, and I’ll DM you The Body Edit🔥🔥
I was on a call with a new client yesterday and wi I was on a call with a new client yesterday and within 10 minutes I knew her ferritin was too low.

She was exhausted most of the day, freezing in a normal room temperature, and losing more hair than usual.

She’d decided she was getting older and needed to be more disciplined, which is convenient because women have been trained to blame themselves before asking whether anyone has run the right labs.

Her ferritin was low.

No amount of eating less, adding cardio, or pretending coffee is breakfast was going to fix what we found. You can follow a “perfect” weight-loss plan and still struggle when your body doesn’t have what it needs to produce energy, train properly, recover, and maintain muscle.

This is exactly why I created The Body Edit. I’m not handing you another meal plan and telling you to work harder. I’m teaching you the exact process I use to identify what’s interfering with your results and what to do next, because guessing your way through midlife clearly isn’t working.

If you want the only program where I put this entire process in one place, comment EDIT and I’ll send it to you. 🫶🏼
    EPISODE 62: How G L P 1s Helped Her Lose 150+ Poun EPISODE 62: How G L P 1s Helped Her Lose 150+ Pounds After Bariatric Surgery with Alissa Meisel @alissaameisel

In this episode, I’m joined by Alissa Meisel, an occupational therapist, board-certified health and wellness coach, and founder of Meisel Health, to talk about her incredible 150+ pound weight-loss journey and how bariatric surgery, G L P 1s, p€p tide therapy, and lifestyle changes became different tools along the way.
Alissa has spent years struggling with her weight, dieting, exercising, and trying to figure out why nothing seemed to work long-term. After infertility treatments contributed to significant weight gain, she ultimately underwent sleeve gastrectomy in 2020 and lost more than 100 pounds.
Years later, despite continuing to exercise, prioritize protein and hydration, and do everything she had been doing to maintain her weight, she began gaining weight again. That’s when she began exploring G L P 1s and p€p tide therapy, which became another tool in her health journey and helped her lose an additional 30 pounds.
In this episode, we talk about the physical AND emotional side of weight loss, why mindset matters, what happens after bariatric surgery, and how feeling comfortable and confident in your body can impact every area of your life, including your marriage and intimacy.
In this episode, we cover:
✅ Alissa’s lifelong struggle with dieting, weight, and an all-or-nothing mindset
✅ How her college years changed her relationship with food and exercise
✅ Her experience with infertility treatments and gaining over 100 pounds
✅ Why she ultimately chose sleeve gastrectomy in January 2020
✅ What life was really like after bariatric surgery, including severe complications and the mental/emotional challenges she experienced
✅ The lack of support she felt after surgery and why she created a roadmap for other women
✅ Regaining 20 pounds years after losing more than 100 pounds
✅ Why training for a half marathon didn’t produce the results she expected
✅ How G L P 1 therapy and p€p tide therapy became another tool in her journey
