hello!

I'm Jennifer

I didn’t grow up dreaming about a career, I dreamed about being a mom. But years of striving, perfectionism, and pushing myself to exhaustion left my hormones wrecked, my gut inflamed, and my body begging for change. After finding Functional Diagnostic Nutrition and rebuilding my own health through data, nourishment, and balance, I made it my mission to help other women do the same. I now guide women to restore their bodies through holistic lab testing, ancestral nutrition, rest, and sustainable self-care, because a balanced body makes for a balanced babe.

Very relaxed and reasonable of me. 😂 This season Very relaxed and reasonable of me. 😂

This season of motherhood has humbled me more than any other because the older they get, the less control I have, and the more I have to trust that what I poured into them is still there even when they are off doing their own thing.
Ranking my favorite supplements! Remember the go Ranking my favorite supplements!

Remember the goal is not to build the most impressive supplement cabinet but to feel stronger, sleep better, protect your muscle, and stop feeling like your body is slipping away from you in perimenopause.

That is why I am so intentional about what I take, what I recommend, and what actually deserves a place in your routine.

Inside The Body Edit, I break down my full supplement stack, what each one is for, how I think about it, and how it fits into the bigger picture of hormones, blood sugar, fat loss, muscle, energy, and healthy aging.

So instead of guessing, buying random products, and changing your routine every two weeks, you can finally make smarter decisions for your body.

Funny how that works 🤣 Funny how that works 🤣
You can know every possible sign of low progestero You can know every possible sign of low progesterone…

but what you really want is to feel good in your body again.

You want to sleep through the night instead of staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m., wake up feeling rested, and get through the day without feeling exhausted and overstimulated at the same time.

You want the anxiety to settle down, the irritability to stop taking over by late afternoon and the bloating and fluid retention to ease up.

You want to feel calm, clear, steady, and like yourself again.

And yes, you also want your clothes to fit better, your stomach to feel flatter, your face to look less puffy, and enough energy left at the end of the day to actually enjoy your life.

I think women are allowed to want all of that without being told they should simply accept feeling awful because they are in perimenopause or menopause.

I care about your hormones, blood sugar, muscle, and long-term health, but I also care that you feel confident, attractive, emotionally steady, and comfortable in your own body.

Because knowing the signs is helpful, but recognizing yourself in the mirror and feeling good in your life is the actual goal.

That is why my clients love The Body Edit.

It gives you a clear plan for the things midlife women are trying to piece together on their own right now, including hormones, sleep, fat loss, muscle, stress, and how to think intelligently about tools like p3p tides.

I do not want you spending the next five years buying random supplements, cutting more food, adding more cardio, and hoping one of those things finally fixes everything.

The Body Edit has already helped more than 1,400 women make smarter decisions for their bodies and feel stronger, leaner, more energized, more confident, and much more like themselves again.

When I hit the plateau, I was still lifting, eatin When I hit the plateau, I was still lifting, eating well, and staying consistent, but the same plan that helped me lose the first part of the weight was no longer getting me the rest of the way.

This is where most women panic.

They immediately assume they need more cardio, or a higher dose, when sometimes the real issue is that their body has adapted and the strategy around the p3p tide has not changed with it.

I did not want to force the last five pounds off by feeling exhausted, losing muscle, sleeping terribly, or thinking about food all day.

So I stepped back and looked at the pieces most women overlook, how I was structuring my meals, whether I was actually getting enough protein, how I was hydrating, my electrolytes, strength training, and what I was using to measure progress besides the scale.

That is what finally helped my body respond again.

And because I know how frustrating it is to feel like you are doing everything right and still getting nowhere, I put the exact framework I used into The P3p Tide Plateau Protocol.

It is for the woman whose progress has slowed, whose scale has not moved in weeks, and who does not want her only options to be eating less or increasing her dose.

Comment PLATEAU and I’ll send you the guide.
EPISODE 56: Why Every Midlife Woman on G L P 1s Ne EPISODE 56: Why Every Midlife Woman on G L P 1s Needs a DEXA Scan with Bill Robison

In this episode, I’m joined by Bill Robison, Navy veteran, sports medicine professional, and founder of Body Fat Clinic @bodyfatclinic in Bakersfield, California. With decades of experience in athletic training, body composition analysis, and metabolic health, Bill explains why the scale doesn’t tell the whole story... And why understanding your body composition is essential, especially if you’re using G L P 1 medications.
We dive into the science behind DEXA scans, muscle preservation, metabolism, and sustainable fat loss, while sharing practical strategies women can use to protect their health for the long term.

In this episode, we cover:
✅ Why DEXA scans are considered the gold standard for measuring body composition

✅ The difference between DEXA scans, InBody scans, and traditional scales

✅ Why many women lose muscle (not just fat!) during weight loss

✅ How muscle impacts metabolism, body composition, and long-term health

✅ The dangers of chronic calorie restriction and metabolic adaptation

✅ Reverse dieting and why your body eventually stops responding to low-calorie diets

✅ Why calories matter just as much as protein when preserving muscle

✅ The importance of fiber for digestion, gut health, and G L P 1 success

✅ Jennifer’s personal DEXA scan results and what they revealed about her health

If you’re in @bakersfieldcity, make an appt to go visit Bill. He is a wealth of knowledge!

I’m 43, I’ve had four kids, and I’m in better shap I’m 43, I’ve had four kids, and I’m in better shape now than I was before I became a mom.

Not because life suddenly got easier or I found some perfect routine I could follow every single day.

It happened when I stopped treating one missed workout, one meal out, or one hard week like proof that I had failed again.

For years, I knew the basics. I ate protein, lifted weights, paid attention to my minerals, and tried to take care of myself, but I was still stuck in that all-or-nothing cycle where I either did everything perfectly or felt like none of it counted.

Adding the right tools helped me get out of that cycle, lose body fat, and feel better in my body, but the tool was never the whole story.

The real transformation came from building a plan I could actually live with, one that supported my blood sugar, muscle, hormones, sleep, energy, and metabolism without requiring my entire life to revolve around weight loss.

That is what I want for you too.

You do not need to wait until the kids need you less, work slows down, your hormones cooperate, or life finally gives you a calm season.

You can start taking care of yourself in the middle of the life you have now.

I put everything I have learned through my own experience, and from helping more than 1,400 women, into The Body Edit, so you have a clear midlife plan for losing stubborn fat, building muscle, getting your energy back, and finally feeling like yourself again.

Most women in perimenopause assume that waking up Most women in perimenopause assume that waking up at 3 a.m. every night to pee is just what happens in midlife, so they stop questioning it. 👀

But when one of my clients brought this up recently we looked at everything happening around it, not just the fact that she was getting up to use the bathroom.

She was barely eating earlier in the day, her dinner was too low in protein, most of her water was being pushed too late, and her blood sugar was not staying as stable overnight as we wanted it to.

So her body was waking her up first, and then once she was awake, she noticed she had to pee.

We made a few changes to her meals, protein, hydration timing, evening routine, and a few other things specific to her body, and within a couple of weeks, she was sleeping much more consistently.

That is what so many women miss, these symptoms rarely live in separate little boxes. Your sleep affects your hunger, your blood sugar affects your energy, your stress affects your recovery, and all of it changes how your body responds in midlife.

Sometimes you need to step back, connect the dots, and build a plan around what your body is actually doing now.

That is what you will learn inside The Body Edit, how to support your metabolism, blood sugar, hormones, sleep, energy, and body composition in a way that works together, rather than chasing one symptom at a time.

More than 1,400 women have already used it to stop guessing and start feeling in control of their bodies again.
