hello!

I'm Jennifer

I didn’t grow up dreaming about a career, I dreamed about being a mom. But years of striving, perfectionism, and pushing myself to exhaustion left my hormones wrecked, my gut inflamed, and my body begging for change. After finding Functional Diagnostic Nutrition and rebuilding my own health through data, nourishment, and balance, I made it my mission to help other women do the same. I now guide women to restore their bodies through holistic lab testing, ancestral nutrition, rest, and sustainable self-care, because a balanced body makes for a balanced babe.

A few years ago, my hair had gotten so thin and br A few years ago, my hair had gotten so thin and brittle that I started wearing extensions because I didn’t feel confident wearing my own hair.

I’m not someone who’s always had thick, amazing hair, and midlife definitely changed mine.

I started paying closer attention to what was going on internally, got my labs where I wanted them, lost my midlife 15, and added a protocol focused on supporting my hair from the inside out.

One month in, I could already see a difference.

Now I’m wearing my natural hair without extensions, and it genuinely looks better than it has in about five years.

I’m not saying I suddenly have perfect hair. I’m still a normal midlife woman with naturally thinning hair, but I finally feel confident wearing my own again.

If your hair has changed in midlife too and you want to know exactly what I used, comment SPARKLE and I’ll send it to you. ✨
A p3p tide can help with appetite, blood sugar, we A p3p tide can help with appetite, blood sugar, weight loss, and other metabolic factorsbut it was never supposed to replace the work you need to do around it.

If you spend the entire time eating as little as possible, losing muscle, and never learning how to structure your meals, then yes maintaining your results will be harder when you come off.

If you use the time to build muscle, eat enough protein, improve your meal structure, support your blood sugar, and create habits you can actually continue, then you’re in a very different position.

The pep tide can be one tool but what you build around it matters just as much.

This is also why I don’t believe women should be handed a prescription and sent on their way with zero strategy for nutrition, muscle, recovery, or what happens next.

If you’re using a pep tide and want to make sure you’re supporting your body properly alongside it, comment EDIT and I’ll send you the details on The Body Edit.
    1. STOP under-eating! Skipping breakfast and barel 1. STOP under-eating! Skipping breakfast and barely eating until dinner will leave you ravenous later and make it harder to keep your blood sugar steady.

2. Strength train, but stop treating every workout like punishment. You 100% need muscle in perimenopause but piling intense workouts on top of poor sleep and high stress isn’t gonna help your recovery.

3. Eat enough protein at every meal. Protein helps you maintain muscle, stay fuller longer, and build meals that actually support your metabolism instead of leaving you searching for snacks two hours later.

4. Take your sleep seriously. If you’re staying up late and waking up throughout the night, you can’t expect your hunger, energy, and cravings to cooperate.

5. Build actual recovery into your week. You can’t remove every stressful thing from your life, but you can stop expecting your body to perform like you’re fully recovered when you’re running yourself into the ground.

If your answer has been to eat less, add more cardio, and get stricter every time your belly fat won’t move, I want you to change the strategy.

I created The Body Edit for women in midlife who want a straightforward plan for fat loss that accounts for your hormones, blood sugar, muscle, stress, sleep, and metabolism.

Comment EDIT and I’ll send you the details. 🔥
The baby years made me tired but this season has m The baby years made me tired but this season has made me question myself in ways I never expected.

When your kids are little, you can fix so much with a snack, a hug, or an earlier bedtime. When they get older, you have to love them through decisions you can’t make for them, problems you can’t solve, and lessons you can’t protect them from.

I’m learning that motherhood is not about controlling every outcome. Sometimes it’s just about staying close, praying hard, and trusting that the love and guidance you gave them will still be there when they need it!

Some days I handle that beautifully and other days, I overthink everything and wonder whether I have completely messed them up🤣🫣

You need a plan that actually makes sense for a woman in midlife, and that is exactly why I created The Body Edit.

More than 1,400 women have already used it to stop guessing, start eating and training in a way that supports their body, and finally make progress without making their entire life revolve around losing weight.

EPISODE 57: Why Detox Comes Before Hormones & P€p EPISODE 57: Why Detox Comes Before Hormones & P€p tides for Women Over 40 with Dani Conway

In this episode, I’m joined by fellow Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner Dani Conway @daniconwayofficial , a functional medicine expert who specializes in hormone optimization, metabolic nutrition, p€p tides, and sustainable fat loss for women over 40.
We discuss why nutrition and lifestyle foundations should always come before p€p tides, how functional lab testing and detoxification can naturally improve hormone balance, and why so many women struggle with weight loss, low energy, and stubborn metabolism in midlife. Dani shares how she incorporates p€p tides, including G L P 1s, gut-healing p€p tides, and cellular health p€p tides, into a personalized approach that prioritizes muscle preservation, metabolic health, and long-term wellness. We also cover practical detox strategies, strength training, electrolytes, and the daily habits that help women over 40 build muscle, improve energy, support healthy hormones, and achieve sustainable fat loss.
In this episode, we cover:

✅ Dani’s personal 65-pound weight loss journey and how functional nutrition changed her health
✅ Why food is the foundation before supplements or p€p tides
✅ Common mistakes women over 40 make when trying to lose weight
✅ Why detoxification and drainage pathways should be addressed before hormones
✅ Simple detox practices you can start today, including dry brushing, castor oil packs, walking, Epsom salt baths, and lymphatic drainage
✅ How p€p tides fit into a functional medicine protocol, and why they’re rarely the first step
✅ The difference between gut health p€p tides, cellular health p€p tides, and G L P 1 medications
✅ Why appetite balance is better than appetite suppression
✅ How to preserve muscle while losing body fat
✅ Progressive overload training for women over 40
✅ The importance of electrolytes, minerals, and recovery
✅ Dani’s favorite p€p tide stacks for energy, recovery, and performance
✅ Daily habits that support healthy hormones, metabolism, and longevity
